MASHPEE – A section of Mashpee Commons will be transformed into a small Italian village next Friday for the 10th annual La Tavola – the Italian Feast Under the Stars.
Long banquet tables will be placed in the middle of Market Street for a five course meal with proceeds benefiting the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
The feast which begins at 5:30 p.m. is catered by the Villaggio Ristorante and includes fresh bread from Stop & Shop and Gustare Oils and Vinegars at the table. Desert features cannoli from Roche Bros and Polar Cave Ice Cream.
Live music will also be performed by Italian Tenor Aaron Caruso and accordionist Corey Pesaturo.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win a week-long stay in Italy for two.
