OAK BLUFFS – An award-winning writer, performer and lecturer will perform on Martha’s Vineyard this week to benefit Martha’s Vineyard Community Services and the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center.

Lee Wolf and her partner, author and retired academician Jordan Cohen, will take to the stage to recite letters created by famous and infamous characters on Thursday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hebrew Center.

Wolf says the evening will be centered on the dying art of letter-writing and how we are losing a valuable window on the personal relationships and private reflections that shape so much of our history.

The performance will include the readings of letters by Eleanor Roosevelt, religious writer Frederic William Farrar and American social reformer Margaret Sanger.

General Admission is $50 and sponsor tickets are $200.

Tickets can be purchased online at mvcommunityservices.com.
