Legacy of MLK to be Celebrated January 14

HYANNIS – The community will gather in Hyannis next month to honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On Sunday, January 14, a Silent March down Main Street will be followed by a special interfaith service at the Federated Church.

The march begins at 2:30 p.m. from the Town Hall parking lot with the service scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

The service will feature comments by the Rev. Larry Brown, a Humanities teacher at Cape Cod Academy, along with third grade students for Hyannis West Elementary School.
