YARMOUTH – Route 6 westbound will see delays Thursday as line painting crews continue to work on the roadway.
The painting work started at exit 9 in Dennis and caused backups from Exit 8 back to Exit 9 before 10 a.m.
A dispatcher for the State Police Yarmouth barracks did not know how far west the work would be conducted but said motorists should expect delays throughout the day.
Crews painted the lines in the eastbound lanes of Route 6 between Exits 6 and 9 on Wednesday.
