“Lisa Jason: Bullied to Beautiful” at Cotuit Center for the Arts

COTUIT – The Cotuit Center for the Arts will shine a light on the bullying epidemic during their presentation of “Lisa Jason: Bullied to Beautiful.”

Jason grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, and was bullied relentlessly, until she left at the age of seventeen and moved to New York City with dreams of becoming a professional dancer.
Her story is painted by a musical backdrop of songs from the nineteen seventies.

‘Bullied to Beautiful’ strives to entertain, educate, and hopes to inspire all who see it to continue to use our voices for those who may not have one.

It is said that the true mission of this show is not point fingers, but to create understanding and community as we celebrate how unique we all are as humans.

Curtains will open August 28th, at 7:30 PM, with tickets set at $32, and $27 for balcony seating.

Discounts will be offered for members, seniors, and veterans.
