WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump plans to use Tuesday’s State of the Union address to point to the economic benefits of his tax overhaul while pressing for additional funding for the military and an agreement on immigration.
Aides say he will point the economic progress under his watch and push for bipartisanship with Democrats on issues such as rebuilding roads and bridges.
White House legislative director Marc Short says the president will “talk about how America’s back.”
