Local Hospitals Looking for Input from Health and Human Service Organizations

KA_Falmouth_hospital_111215 (2)FALMOUTH – Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital are looking for input from local health and human service organizations for their community health needs assessment for Barnstable County.

The input from the organizations helps ensure the health needs of residents are accurately identified and prioritized.

The hospitals will be holding two forums in early January.

The first will be held at Falmouth Hospital on Wednesday, January 6 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a second forum at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis on Monday, January 11 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

State Representative Randy Hunt encourages local organizations to attend one of the two forums to ensure that their opinions are heard.

The hospitals conduct a joint community health needs assessment for the county every three years.

The community input phase was completed earlier this month with multiple public forums.

The assessment is expected to be released in 2016.
