Barnstable and Centerville Road Closures Are Near

BARNSTABLE – Motorists in Barnstable and Centerville are being warned about lane restrictions going into place this coming week.

The Barnstable Department of Public Works has announced that starting on April 23rd and running through May 18th (weather permitting), Brentwood Lane in Barnstable as well as Bayberry Lane, Crosby Circle, Glenwood Avenue, and Highland Streets in Centerville will be reduced to one lane.

Work being done on these stretches of roadway will consist of brush clearing, drainage system adjustments, and the repair of warn out asphalt.

Construction will begin at promptly 7 a.m. and run thru 5 p.m.

The Department of Public Works is kindly asking motorists to avoid the affected areas to diminish delays, and to also use extreme caution while traveling through work zones.
