Community Health Center of Cape Cod Recognized for Clinical Quality

MASHPEE – The Community Health Center of Cape Cod recently received national recognition for its clinical quality.

The organization was honored as a 2019 Health Center Quality Leader by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Bureau of Primary Healthcare.

Community Health Center ranked in the top 10 percent of health centers across the nation for clinical care.

It is the first time the organization has received the honor.

The recognition was for numerous quality improvement achievements in 2019.

Community Health Center was also acknowledged in a number of subcategories of the Improving Quality of Care Awards.

The Health Center was recognized as Clinical Quality Improvers for demonstrating at least 15 percent improvement on a clinical quality measure; Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality Award for utilizing five HIT services and/or telehealth services to increase access to care and advance quality of care; and Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition for having patient centered medical home recognition in one or more delivery sites.

Community Health Center of Cape Cod operates offices in Mashpee, Falmouth, Bourne, and Centerville, and provides integrated care services for anyone in the community who needs it, regardless of ability to pay.
