JetBlue Expanding Summer Service to Nantucket

NANTUCKET – JetBlue is expanding its summer service to Nantucket.

Beginning in mid-June, the airline will offer flights from New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Westchester County Airport to the island.

Westchester flights will be Thursdays through Mondays and LaGuardia flights will operate Saturdays and Sundays. All new flights are on sale.

“With added JetBlue service to Nantucket, more of our customers can skip the drive and ferry and enjoy a convenient flight directly to this classic American summer getaway,” said Andrea Lusso, director of route planning for JetBlue.

“It’s never too early to start planning a summer getaway, especially with more JetBlue flights from more cities than ever before to this to New England destination.”

The 2019 summer season will now offer up to ten daily JetBlue flights to Nantucket.

“The Chamber of Commerce and Island Business Community is very enthusiastic about JetBlue’s newly announced flights to Nantucket,” said David Martin, Chamber President & CEO.

“More and more visitors are discovering the Island’s unique opportunities, special events and overall Nantucket experience and we are excited to work with our partners at JetBlue to promote the new flights and assist in telling that story.”

JetBlue has served Nantucket for more than a decade, first landing on the island in May 2007.

The airline also flies from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
