COTUIT – The artwork from almost 40 local artists will be on display in Cotuit beginning later this month.
The Cahoon Museum of American Art presents its Fourth Annual Small Works Show from November 23 through December 23.
The exhibit celebrates the work of emerging and established local artists and is also a significant fundraiser for the museum.
Participating artists were limited to creating works no larger than 154 square inches in size.
Mediums represented include photography, painting, prints, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, fiber work and shell work.
Most of the pieces will also be available for purchase for less than $300 per piece.
A free public reception and holiday party with the artists will be held on Friday, December 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The Cahoon Museum is open six days a week, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
Admission is $10, $8 for seniors and students and free for members and children under 12.
