LPGA Legends to Play on Nantucket for Inaugural Golf Weekend

NANTUCKET – The Legends of the LPGA are coming to Nantucket this weekend to benefit Nantucket Cottage Hospital.

About 200 golfers will gather for the inaugural Nantucket Golf Weekend with proceeds to support the hospital’s walk-in care service, which offers easy and convenient access to medical care for non-life-threatening conditions without a trip to the emergency room.

Golf and social events including the Charity Pro Am will be held at Miacomet Golf Club and Sankaty Head Golf Club.

The Legends Tour roster has a combined for almost 750 LPGA Tour wins, including more than 80 major championships.

The tour has raised more than $18 million for charity.
