NANTUCKET – Lyme disease expert, author and survivor Katina Makris is coming to Nantucket tonight to talk about her newest book, “Autoimmune Illness and Lyme Disease Recovery Guide.”
The lecture and her book signing will be held at the Nantucket Atheneum from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. in the Great Hall and admission is free.
After five years of misdiagnosis and 5 years of treatment, Makris overcame Lyme disease and is now on a nationwide book tour.
She is also the host of a weekly radio show and has worked in natural health care for 30 years as a Classical Homeopath and Certified Intuitive Healer.
