Major Curling Tournament Underway in Falmouth

FALMOUTH – The annual Summer Spiel is underway at the Cape Cod Curling Club.

Hundreds of curlers from the United States and Canada will be playing in the tournament.

Board member Tom Azarovitz said this event is always a big draw despite being played in July.

The event will feature men’s, women’s, mixed, and wheelchair competitions. It has been held for over 40 years.

The tournament kicked off Thursday and has been running for over 40 years.
