ThinkstockPhotos-458078233BOSTON (AP) — A 55-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly making a false bomb threat aboard a plane scheduled to take off from Boston’s Logan Airport.

State police say Dennis Campbell made a statement Wednesday evening in front of other passengers on United Airlines flight 439, indicating he had a bomb in his bag.

The flight was delayed for about 50 minutes as state police investigated.

They determined the threat was false and arrested the Uxbridge man. He’s scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in East Boston District Court. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
