Man Bitten by Shark Released

BOSTON – The 61 year old victim of a shark attack on August 15^th has been released from Tufts Medical Center in Boston, according to Tufts spokesman Jeremy Lechan.

Scarsdale, New York, resident William Lytton was apparently bitten about 30 yards offshore at Longnook Beach inTruro, that beach remains closed to swimming two weeks after the incident.

In a separate incident, a large shark was spotted about 25 feet offshore at Nauset Beach Monday afternoon.

And in North Truro what appears to be a dead 6 foot Mako Shark washed up this morning.
