HYANNIS – A stabbing in Hyannis last night sent a victim being treated at Cape Cod Hospital,
Barnstable Police arrested the alleged perpetrator a short time after the incident, which happened at about 9 o’clock.
Jason Lawson, 39, of Hyannis is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, a knife.
Police said the stabbing was the result of a dispute between Lawson and a neighbor who live in the same building at 164 Winter Street.
Lawson is scheduled to be arraigned today.
No word on the condition of the victim, who made it to the hospital on his own.
