Man, Dog, Struck by Car in Wareham

WAREHAM – A man was medflighted to Boston after being struck by a car in Wareham last night.

Wareham police responded to a scene on Marion Road shortly before 8 PM; they say the victim had been riding a bike with his dog at his side he was hit.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries to his back and legs, while the dog suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the car, 42 year old Christian Iacobucci of Plymouth, was not injured. There is no word on whether he will face charges.
