Man Found Guilty in Fatal Wareham Convenience Store Stabbing 

BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — A 19-year-old man has been found guilty in the stabbing death of a man during a fight at a Wareham convenience store in 2014.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced on Thursday that Demetrius Goshen, of Wareham, was convicted in Brockton of voluntary manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Dwayne Borges.

Police say they found the Brockton man suffering from eight stab wounds at the Cumberland Farms store on Oct. 8, 2014.

He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A store clerk had told police he saw four men fighting with Borges before the stabbing. Cruz’s office says the other three suspects will face charges in the incident.

Goshen’s sentencing is scheduled for April 12.
