Marine Life Center to Offer Final Summer Program Next Week

BUZZARDS BAY – The National Marine Life Center on Main Street, known for their efforts to rescue sea turtles and other marine life, will offer the final weekly program during this week.

The center has focused on a different animal or group of marine animals for weekly programs since late June.

The week will feature Manatees and Dugongs, and will include programs for children all week.

On Tuesday and Thursday at 11 a.m., the center will offer marine animal themed story time and craft project creation. The target age group is 3-8 years and will cost $5 per child, or $3 for members. Children must be supervised.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11 a.m. will feature an explanation of what it takes to be an animal care technician, best for audiences ages 8 to 14.
