Mark Forest Serving as Interim Brewster Administrator

BREWSTER –  Mark Forest has been brought in as Interim Town Administrator in Brewster as the search continues for a replacement for former Administrator Michael Embury, who resigned in June. 

Forest is the former Town Manager for Provincetown and currently serves as a consultant for The Delahunt Group, he is also a college professor. 

The job is expected to last for up to six months, Forest is being paid $75 an hour and will work 20 to 30 hours a week. 

The move comes as the town grapples with financial problems from fiscal year 2018, Embury resigned after the issues surfaced. 

Forest was officially hired July 6th, also brought in to address the problems is former Finance Director Lisa Souvre she will take over for Irene Larivee, who is currently out on medical leave.
