Martha’s Vineyard Hospital Board Hires New CEO

Denise Schepici was hired as the new president and CEO of Martha’s Vineyard Hospital by its Board of Trustees.

MARTHA’S VINEYARD – A new president and CEO of Martha’s Vineyard Hospital has been hired by the Board of Trustees.

Denise Schepici will fill the position previously held by Joe Woodin, who stepped down over the summer.

The health care executive has 30 years of leadership and management experience and most recently served as the Chief Administrative Officer for MetroWest Medical Center.

“As both a highly respected health care professional and longtime admirer of the Vineyard, it felt like a perfect fit,” said Susan Crampton, the search committee chairman. “The Board of Trustees unanimously agreed.”

Schepici is scheduled to begin work in January.
