MASHPEE- The “Mashpee Commons Master Plan Week” is currently underway with officials looking to the public to find out what the future growth of the Commons should look like in the next few years.
‘Plan Week’ is a design charterette that will include cookouts, community planning meetings, along with feedback workshops that are aimed to solidify new plans to improve the commons and their customer experiences.
“We really want to invite the public to come in and give as much feedback as they can, and really be part of the process,” said Commons spokesman Tony Simon.
The event runs now through May 9th at various locations throughout the Commons as well as the Mashpee Public Library.
“Now what we are really doing… is putting pen to paper… we’re hoping by the end of the week we will have a very solid plan.” said Simon.
