Mashpee Man Wants Trump Removed from Office

FALMOUTH – A Mashpee resident has formed a group in an attempt to remove President Donald Trump from office.

The group, called “Falmouth/Move to Remove”, held their first gathering last weekend and is holding another meeting on Saturday on the Falmouth Green.

The group started from a small crowd of people that were holding signs along the Green, and Rifkin said that the support they received convinced him to start a movement.

“He’s really not well liked and he should just go back to building towers and playing golf and resign, that’s what I’d really like, and I think there’s a decent possibility of that if the people get out in masses,” said Rifkin.

Rifkin hopes that by gathering enough people, their message will resonate across the country so that Trump will find an excuse to resign or legislators will remove him.

For him, not standing up and expressing concerns in a visible manner may cause the survival of the nation to be at stake.

“We hope to have people who feel the way we do, come join us and let’s get rid of this guy before he gets rid of us,” said Rifkin.

The group will continue demonstrating at the head of the Falmouth Green every Saturday from 10:30-11 a.m.

Those who would like to participate are encouraged to create and bring a sign with them.
