MASHPEE – Mashpee officials are holding the first of two public meetings tonight on the plans for over 500 acres of town-owned land.
Planners are looking at using the land for a variety of projects, including affordable housing, parks, and open space conservation. Officials hope to craft a proposal for the future land use for residents to consider at fall town meeting.
The land is valued at about $27 million.
Tonight’s meeting is from 6-9 pm at Mashpee Town Hall.
