Mashpee Recount Scheduled for Tuesday

MASHPEE – The recount to determine the winner of a seat on the Mashpee Board of Selectmen has been set.

The Town Clerk’s office will conduct the recount beginning on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Mashpee Town Hall.

The original tally found newcomer Andrew Gottlieb as the winner of the race, topping incumbent Thomas O’Hara by six votes.

O’Hara turned in the required signatures on Tuesday to request the recount.
