MASHPEE – The fate of a proposed plan to start school times later in Mashpee could be decided Wednesday night.
The school committee is expected to vote on the measure, according to its meeting agenda.
The goal of the later times is to help students get more sleep to perform better academically and stay healthier.
Under the proposal the Middle-High School would start an hour later with Quashnet Elementary and Kenneth C. Coombs Schools beginning 45 minutes later.
The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in the Quashnet school’s library.
