WELLFLEET – 22Mass Audubon is hosting a Seashore Ramble event at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary on May 29.

Use dip nets and magnifiers to search for swimming, flying and burrowing wildlife on the sanctuary’s beach at low tide.

A walk to the beach will take participants through five different natural communities.

Organizers hope to see crabs, turtles, fish and more.

The program runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 pm and pre-registration is strongly recommended.

Participants are asked to check in 10 minutes before the start of the program and dress for the weather, as well as bring water and sunscreen.

Organizers are also asking participants to wear comfortable walking shoes that they don’t mind getting sandy or wet.

To protect participants’ feet from sharp shells, organizers require everyone to keep their shoes on at the beach.

The cost of the program is $10 for adult and children members and $12 for non-members.

The event is suitable for children ages 4 to 18.

To register for the program, or for more information, go to massaudubon.org.
