Mass Audubon Offering Veterans Free Admission to Wildlife Sanctuaries on Veterans Day

WELLFLEET – Mass Audubon is again thanking our military veterans and their families on Veterans Day by offering free admission to wildlife sanctuaries across Massachusetts.

Free admission will be offered on both Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12.

As the state’s largest nature conservation nonprofit, Mass Audubon is encouraging military veterans and their families to discover the nearly 60 wildlife sanctuaries it owns. From the Cape and Islands to metropolitan Boston, central Massachusetts, and the Berkshires, Mass Audubon’s wildlife sanctuaries are sure to not disappoint.

According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, more than 300,000 veterans live in the Bay State.

Mass Audubon says it’s grateful that those veterans and their spouses, partners, and children are among the more than half-million visitors who enjoy the wildlife sanctuaries every year.
