Mass Maritime Reschedules Sea Term Departure

BUZZARDS BAY – Hundreds of students at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy that were scheduled to depart for southern waters for the annual Sea Term, will have to wait another day.

Due to today’s snow storm and the forecast for tonight, Mass Maritime has rescheduled the departure for 6 a.m. Monday.

Once they are on their journey, cadets will stop at ports of call in Aruba, Barbados, St. Thomas and Fort Lauderdale.

Michael Campbell will captain the T.S. Kennedy and the voyage is expected to last nearly two months.
