Mass. National Guard opens new facility on Joint Base Cape Cod

jbcc-1BOURNE – The Massachusetts National Guard hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to commemorate the opening of the 101st Regiment – RTI’s new facility on Joint Base Cape Cod on November 5.

The new facility is a 25,913 square foot building with an auditorium, library, multiple general-purpose spaces and a learning center.

Additionally, a new 32,125 square foot barracks building has been constructed to accommodate those taking courses at the RTI. 

Distinguished officials included U.S. Representative Bill Keating, State Rep. Randy Hunt, Maj. Gen. Gary Keefe, Adjutant General, Mr. John Beatty, Executive Director, Mass. Military Task Force, MassDevelopment, Brig. Gen. (MA-Ret.) Frank LaBollita, Col. Frank B. Magurn, Land Component Commander, Col. Christine Hoffmann, Chief of Staff, Col. John Driscoll, 101st RTI Commander, Col. Ginger Trojanowski Doonan, 102nd Intelligence Wing Commander, Otis Air National Guard Base, Col. Robert Dwan, past 101st RTI Commander, Col. Tom Devine, USPFO, Col. Richard Berthao, Director of Information Management, State Command Sgt. Maj. Carlos Ramos, State Command Chief Master Sgt. Rick MacDonald, Command Sgt. Maj. Bill Davidson and several other guests.
