Massachusetts Gas Prices Up Again By 1 Cent This Week

Gas PricesBOSTON (AP) — Gas prices are creeping upward in Massachusetts, now one cent higher than last week.

AAA Northeast reports Monday that a gallon of self-serve, regular has increased to an average of $2.75. That’s one cent less than the national average of $2.76.

According to the website gasbuddy.com, unleaded regular gas on Cape Cod ranged between $2.76 and $3.09 a gallon this week.

Prices statewide are 9 cents higher than they were a month ago, but 92 cents lower than a year ago, when prices were $3.67.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.54 per gallon and as high as $2.99.
