BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts drivers are getting more relief at the pump, with the average cost of a gallon of gas down another 3 cents thanks to lower crude oil prices.
AAA Northeast reports Monday that self-serve, regular is has dropped to an average of $2.72 per gallon.
According to gasbuddy.com, self-serve regular unleaded ranges between $2.75 and $3.09 a gallon on Cape Cod.
The current statewide price is the same as it was a month ago but 95 cents lower than at the same time a year ago. Massachusetts prices are also a nickel below the national average.
