Massachusetts Gas Prices Down 3 Cents per Gallon 

BOSTON (AP) — Summer travel is getting cheaper.

AAA Northeast reports Monday that the price of a gallon of self-serve, regular gasoline in Massachusetts has dropped 3 cents in the past week to an average of $2.26.

The Massachusetts price is 8 cents lower than the national average and 4 cents per gallon lower than the in-state price a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.15 and as high as $2.51 per gallon.

Prices on Cape Cod are selling as low as $2.29 per gallon and as high as $2.55, according to GasBuddy.com.
