HYANNIS – Gas prices fell another cent over the past week in Massachusetts.
AAA Northeast reports that self-serve, regular unleaded is selling for an average of $2.63 per gallon.
That price is two cents higher than the national average and nineteen cents lower than at the same time last year.
“Despite robust demand, gas prices continue to trend downward, which is good news for drivers heading out for the long Labor Day weekend, taking end-of-summer vacations, and driving their college students back to campus,” said Mary Maguire, Director of Public and Legislative Affairs for AAA Northeast.
According to GasBuddy.com, prices on Cape Cod range from $2.55 to $2.99.
