BOSTON (AP) — The price of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts trickled down a penny in the past and remains well below the national average.
AAA Northeast reports Monday that self-serve, regular is now selling for an average of $2.13 per gallon.
That’s 9 cents per gallon lower than the national average, but 4 cents higher than the state average a year ago.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.03 and as high as $2.34 per gallon, a 31-cent range.
On Cape Cod, self-serve, regular prices range from $2.14 to $2.37 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.
