Meet Cape Cod’s Snowy Owl Visitors

WELLFLEET – A special visitor has returned to the beaches of Cape Cod.   Snowy Owls have been spotted in many locations and Mass Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary wants you to see these amazing animals.

A sanctuary naturalist will lead an exploration of locations where the latest sightings have been reported.

Since these change, participants will be notified about the meeting location the day before the Saturday, February 3rd adventure.

You will learn about the owl’s behavior, history and why there are so many more on the Cape this year.

Those planning to be a part of this very cool adventure should be ready to carpool to additional locations if needed.  be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring binoculars and, of course, dress for the weather.

Registration is required and can be made online, by mail or by calling (508) 349-2615.
