ORLEANS – The 2018 season of the Meeting House Chamber Music Festival will come to a close later this month.
The season finale will be held Monday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the festival’s principal venue, the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans.
Performers during the program will include horn player Clark Matthews, violinist Audrey Wright, and pianist and artistic director Donald Enos, who founded the Cape’s longest-running music festival 45 years ago.
The program will feature Fantasy for Solo Horn by Malcolm Arnold, an English composer and Oscar-winning producer of more than 100 film scores.
The horn will be joined by the violin and piano for Brahms’ Horn Trio, Op. 40.
Other works include Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 8 in G Major and pieces by Richard Strauss.
Tickets are $25 and admission is free for attendees under 18 years of age.
