PROVINCETOWN – For this holiday season the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum is encouraging the public to give the gift of a year’s membership to the landmark, to their family and friends.
For the active and adventurous, a climb up the iconic 252-foot all granite structure is a must, and for the history buff, a visit to the permanent collections on the history of the Mayflower Pilgrims and the town’s rich maritime heritage is a favorite.
For the arts and culture enthusiast, there’s a visit to the special exhibition, “The Great Provincetown Summer-1916”, which will be extended into 2017.
And for those who appreciate stunning views, grab a picnic lunch and enjoy beautiful grounds and the spectacular vista.
In addition to pleasing the recipient of the gift, your membership gift supports the Monument and Museum, which is a non-profit educational, tax-exempt organization.
The Pilgrim Monument commemorates the first landing of the Mayflower Pilgrims in 1620 in Provincetown Harbor where they wrote and signed the Mayflower Compact.
