Basketball Merger to Help More Kids on Cape Cod

HYANNIS – Shea’s Youth Basketball Association and Cape Cod Child Development Program are announcing their upcoming merger.

The combination of the two will allow them to reach more at risk Cape teens with sports and mentoring opportunities.

The Board of Cape Cod Child Development program voted to accept the merger after discussions began with a collaboration last December where SYBA members donated their time to help hand out 100 trees to 100 members of CCCDP’s neediest families.

The merger will be official on January 1st.
