Cape Cod Military Foundation in Final Push for Christmas Party Gifts

BOURNE – The Cape Cod Military Support Foundation is making a final push for gifts to be distributed at their annual children’s Christmas party, which will take place on December 17th at Joint Base Cape Cod.

Operation Santa Claus and the foundation’s holiday meals program, provide food, gifts for toddlers to teens and this very special event.

“Horseback riding and a petting zoo, face painters, balloon sculptors, magicians, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a base firetruck…” said Foundation President Don Cox.

Each child will get 2 gifts and every parent will get a couple of gifts to take home.

“We have a ‘Shop for Mommy and Daddy’ section where the kids can pick out a gift.   It’s wrapped and they can take it home and put it under the tree,” said Cox

There are collection boxes at businesses and fire stations throughout the Cape.  For a full list, visit CapeCodMilitaryFoundation.com or call 774-392-3018.
