WEST YARMOUTH – For years, the Mill Hill Club in Yarmouth was the place for the younger set to go dancing in the mid Cape area.
After sitting empty for years, the former nightclub will be demolished Tuesday morning.
The site of the club on Route 28 in West Yarmouth will be the new home of Mayflower Place, a 75-bed memory care facilty.
The Mill Hill Club closed in 2008.
In its history, the club was the site of acts like BB King, the Grass Roots and Herb Reed of the Platters.
Demolition is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 8 a.m.
