NANTUCKET – The man Nantucket police had been searching for since Wednesday has been found dead.
The body of David Glidden, 62, was found Thursday by a search team in a wooded area off Ticcoma Way.
Authorities say his death does not appear to be suspicious.
Nantucket and State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape and Islands District Attorneys Office are investigating.
Police launched an organized public search Thursday morning for Glidden.
Glidden was last seen in the area of Rugged Road around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police spent Wednesday searching for Glidden with help from a state police K9 unit and a coast guard helicopter.
