DENNIS – The longtime head of the Dennis Chamber of Commerce is stepping down.
Spyro Mitrokostas will stay on as Executive Director for the time being while the chamber’s Board of Directors conducts a search for his replacement. He has held the position since 2005.
“It has been a pleasure to serve as the Executive Director of the Dennis Chamber of Commerce for the past 13 years,” Mitrokostas said. “The time however has come for me to pass the baton to the next leader.”
“Spyro’s service to the Chamber, its members and the Dennis community is very much appreciated,” said Mark Burgess, the President of the Dennis Chamber Board of Directors. “His local knowledge of the business community will be missed. We thank him for his years of service.”
