Monomoy Dollars for Scholars Announces Scholarships for Continuing Education Students

CHATHAM – Monomoy Dollars for Scholars has announced scholarships for continuing education students.

The program is open for continuing education students in their second, third or fourth year of college.

Students must be a resident in Harwich or Chatham and/or have graduated from Chatham High School or Monomoy Regional High School.

The program has a minimum of 17 scholarships, with around $38,000 to be distributed in 2017.

Prospective applicants should start an online profile on the Monomoy Dollars for Scholars website to apply for scholarships.

The Open Scholarship Season is continuing until November 1st.

Scholarships are competitive and not all students will be awarded.

Students will be required to write two 350 word essays, obtain one reference, provide a current transcript and current financial information.

Awarded students will be required to forward this year’s second semester invoice, showing the balance in their account, to Monomoy Dollars for Scholars by March 1st.

Award money will then be paid directly to their college/university.
