CHATHAM – The Monomoy Regional School District has the highest accountability rating of any PK-12 district on Cape Cod, according to data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
The district ranked in the 70th percentile.
The ranking accounts for MCAS scores, student growth per year, progress towards English proficiency for learners of the language, and chronic absenteeism when measuring for overall accountability.
The system aids the state and communities in allocating resources.
Monomoy Regional Middle School has the highest accountability rating out of the 12 Cape Cod middle schools for the second consecutive year with an accountability rating of 74 percent.
Monomoy Regional High School ranks 6th out of the 11 Cape Cod high schools, ranking in the 49th percentile.
