HARWICH – Students at Monomoy Regional High School will host a debate on Friday with the candidates for the Massachusetts Ninth Congressional District.
Incumbent Democratic Congressman Bill Keating faces a challenge from Republican Mark Alliegro. Three independent candidates for the seat, Anna Grace Raduc, Paul Harrington, and Chris Cataldo, will also take part in the debate.
The hour-long event is set for 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Monomoy Regional High School auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
The debate will be run by the AP U.S. Government class at Monomoy. The school is continuing a tradition of hosting political debates, going back to the old Harwich High School before the establishment of the regional high school.
The school has hosted Congressional and State Legislative debates since 2006.
