CHATHAM – Monomoy Regional School District officials have tapped an interim principal for the regional middle school.
Mark Wilson comes to Monomoy from Wareham, where he currently works as an administrative consultant for the Wareham Public Schools.
He has been given a two-year interim contract, although school officials indicate they hope the appointment is a long-term agreement. The hiring comes two weeks after the announced departure of principal Brian Daniels. Wilson was chosen from a field of eight candidates.
Wilson will be introduced at tonight’s school committee meeting and will meet with students at the school on Thursday before they leave for summer break.
