HYANNIS – Multiple Cape Cod schools received bomb threats this morning.

The Sturgis Charter Public School’s Main Street Campus and the Mashpee Middle/High School received the threats around 9:30 a.m.

Barnstable Sergeant Sean Sweeney said the call to Sturgis was robotic.

In a message sent to Mashpee parents, Interim Superintendent Patty DeBoer said the Mashpee threat was also by phone.

Both Schools were evacuated while the schools were searched by local police departments. Students at both schools returned to the building for normal classes.

DeBoer assured parents that all of the students and staff are safe.

Any parents with any questions can contact the superintendent’s office.

Sweeney said a school in Wellfleet also received a threat.
