Sandwich to Hold Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Session

SANDWICH-  The Town of Sandwich is inviting the general public to participate in a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program Listening Session during the Board of Selectmen meeting this week.

Last winter, Sandwich received a grant from the Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs to become MVP-certified.

As part of that process, the Town conducted an 8-hour Community Resilience Building Workshop back in April. The goal of this effort was to engage community stakeholders to facilitate the education, planning and, ultimately, implementation of priority adaptation actions.

The meeting is set for 7:30pm on May 24th, and will last for approximately 60 minutes at the Sandwich Town Hall at 130 Main Street, in the second floor auditorium.
